Me Time

I like to remind you the importance of Me time via this blog. It correlates to my previous blogs: Happiness, Stress and Successful Life. You must all deem to concern about having Me time. Me time - few minutes of your life with you to know yourself, to remind you about yourself, to reduce stress, to feel free from all boundations you have and to get rejuvenated or revitalized. In a day or in a week if you give few minutes to yourself, definitely it will work as a booster and helps you to cope up with on going problems in life, helps you to reduce further problems in life and makes you feel much lighter and happier. It is one of the best resource to keep yourself energetic and stress free.

But nowadays we are so engrossed in our struggling life and busy to fulfill the needs of our surrounding that we have forgotten ourselves and our own personal and mental needs. Taking care of others is good actually but taking care of ourselves side by side is also critical. I understand making yourself a top priority is bit difficult but at the same time it is pivotal for you and your health. 

If you will not be fit and fine then how you will concern about others and solve their problems to make them happy. If you will not do something for yourself or not give time to yourself, one day you will realize that what are you doing? and why? and you will eventually end up having a lot of stress. A line which fits here is:  "before you know others, know yourself first".

Keep yourself away from all the troubles for few moments and live those moments in your own way as you want. However it is, you should enjoy that moment to the fullest even if it bothers anyone, it dosn't matter. In that moment feel yourself as free from all the things. This moment is only yours. Forget everyone except yourself. Imagine this moment as a kingdom and you are the ruler. Rule the kingdome the way you always wanted to rule.

Now the question comes: How you should spend time with yourself to have that Me time? 
I am sure you all have a few favourite ways but let me remind you that there are various other ways to do the same. You should consider doing what you love doing the most. Here are some tips for you to carve out that Me time for yourself.

In your Me time you can choose to take bath with lukewarm water to wash out all the problems for sometime to get some peace and relaxation. 

You can sit alone with your favourite beverage in a quiet place like at the terrace or in the balcony and enjoy it.  

You can choose to walk alone in your favourite place any time of the day. These activities will help you to ease and calm your mind and makes you feel better.

In your Me time, you can take out your old stuffs with which your memories are attached and let yourself blend into those memories for few moments.

You can sit alone in a quite place and talk to your inner self. It can help you to get solutions to your problems and relieve the stress too.
I too love to talk to myself when I find myself in stress or seeking answers to some problem. At times I sit alone in a quiet place and talk to my inner self. By sharing everything to my inner self, no matter what it is, my mind gets some peace and the body feels relaxed.

Sometimes you should switch off all your gadgets and sit peacefully like everything is you right now.

Also in your free time, its okay to live your wishes as if they are fulfilled. For example: you always wish to have a Mercedes Benz in your garage and you are making all the efforts to fulfill this wish. Its no harm to live a few moments by thinking that you are sitting in that Mercedez Benz car and cruising on the highway with nowhere to go.
This will intensify your willingness and efforts to fulfill that wish and gives you new hope that one day, you will have that Mercedez Benz waiting for you in your garage.

These are few more ways by which you can spend your Me time with yourself. 

But in this small world everyone is so caught up in the maze of time that they have forgotten themselves.

So what do you think? Do you want to forget yourself? Or find yourself? Choice is yours but my advice is: Set an appointment with yourself, for yourself. It will keep you mentally and physically healthy and stress free to face the next challenge of life.

    I personally do one of the way you have described which is to sit in the balcony and my favourite beverage is ginger tea.
